It's week 8 and the first class of this CS program is completed! I think this was a great introduction to the program and I feel like I have learned a lot. I really enjoyed the writing portion of this class, as well as reading about different topics such as time management. This class really pushed me to get a head start on my learning and think about the future. My team has communicated and collaborated very well so far. Everyone is willing to put in the work and help each other. In the future, it would be helpful to be more specific when discussing projects, like determining when each thing should be completed and communicating after every step.

Here are my group's final video presentations:

Review Other Teams' Final Video Projects

CTRL Alt Elite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9iszuuoCgw&feature=youtu.be This video covered the topic of video game emulation very well. The presentation was clear and it is evident that the topic was researched well. The video is of high quality and uses interesting pictures and graphics to engage the reader and provide for interesting content. One thing that could use improvement is that the voiceover wasn't so clear; the speaker could refine it and enunciate each word better. The credits displayed how each team member contributed to the final product. The video explained the topic well to its audience of the general public. Overall, this group did a great job.

Pet Connect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlV1Q3fKgwQ What really stood out to me in this video is that teamwork is really evident and you can clearly see each member of the group contributing. As someone who is not involved in gaming at all, the first almost 2 minutes of the video was very confusing and did not provide any content or context to viewers. After that, however, the group members clearly explained the topic well and appealed to their audience effectively. The presentation was clear and the research explained what Twitch is, but didn't go into depth. The video included pictures and graphics to keep the audience engaged. Throughout the video, it was clear that the group members were very passionate about their topic and gave over their enthusiasm to their viewers.

Herthana, Inc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAPoCAbaffU&feature=youtu.be I really enjoyed this group's presentation about the history of medical prosthetics. The topic was well covered and the presentation was clear and informative. They provided quality research and their sources were listed at the end of the video. The video is produced well and included interesting photos with voiceovers to engage viewers. It was evident that each team member participated as they all contributed to creating voiceovers throughout the video. The content is appropriate for the audience. I feel that this video was very well done and the group did a great job!
