This week, I continued my work for Hatzolah bringing my total hours served up to 16.5 so far. I mostly focused on the layout of the main dispatching page. I looked through the code and made a lot of changes mainly with spacing, sizing, etc. These little tweaks seem minor, but when everything appears perfectly aligned, legible, and clear, the site is much more pleasing to use.

This week in CST462, we focused on gender and the disparity in the computer science field. As a woman pursuing a bachelor's in computer science, I found this topic very interesting. Even just in this class, there is an 8:33 ratio of women to men. I definitely think something needs to be done to encourage more girls to pursue a career in this field and I enjoyed sharing my thoughts in the discussion forum.

In CST328, we used XD to create a real prototype of our app that we designed last week. It was a great introduction to XD for those using it for the first time, like me. I really enjoyed the whole process. Here is the link to view my prototype and interact with it by clicking through the buttons and viewing different pages: https://xd.adobe.com/view/864c05a2-acc0-4c14-9b0b-83f54ddd2388-d31f/?fullscreen
